Okay, all…I don’t do this often, but this is important. This beautiful young woman is Jamie. She married a friend of mine from high school. She was 20 years old when she found a lump in her breast, and was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through chemo, had a double mastectomy, and through it all kept a smile on her face.
Though she put up a hell of a fight, Jamie lost her battle with cancer on May 16th, 2012.
I know, as women, we hear this all the time, but it is so, SO important to check yourself. Know your body. It can happen to any of us.
The true meaning of sisterhood is encased in the Ritual. It’s buried in the moments when you just watch a childhood show/movie on the couch with your sisters. Being Greek isn’t about the parties (heck, some of us don’t even go out), but about the moments having fun and knowing that your sisters…
